It's not much different than the nasty cooks and rats behind the kitchen door of a restaurant, or when people don't feel it's a big deal to try and eat organic, then you see a crop duster dumping tons of chemicals all over the food we eat. What about the farm help that shits, pisses, in the fields and sweats all over the food and never washes their shitty their hands etc.. This is part of the reason I want to share stuff like this. This is a totally natural process. Something must die for something else to live. These steers roamed freely on about 60 acres of grassy hills for their entire lives. They had excellent stress free lives. This was just another day for them. <ul> <li>It's extremely quick. A headshot with a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.22_Winchester_Magnum_Rimfire" target="_blank">.22WMR</a> at nearly point blank range was used for these animals. Lights out! They drop straight down just like they fell from the sky or their legs were evaporated in a millisecond.</li> <li>Next they're stabbed/cut through the throat and left to bleed out for a few minutes. This is where most would probably have a hard time with the process.</li> <li>About half the hide is then cut away from the body and the back legs are hooked to the crane. The animal is raised up slightly so the very heavy guts and stomach can be rolled out of the body cavity very easily</li> <li>The animal is lifted completely off the ground and the rest of the hide and head is removed.
