Week #46/2009

Sunday 8th
The wee hours of the morning, I started off with an explanation of my #SurvivalMonths Challenge. I’m going on my 5th week now with no trips to the store for groceries.
During the day I wrapped up and got a taste test of the several pounds of sea salted salmon I started drying on Saturday. Lunch was a soup created from the left over salmon spine. This was a fish I caught and froze a few months ago. Dinner: A soup made of Venison & carrots.
Next I laid out the plan for my 6th week on the 6-Week Cure.
Monday 9th
Fasted Sunday night – Tuesday morning (36 hours).
Wrote Pushing Puke in response to New York Times article “Chocolate Milk May Reduce Inflammation“.
Tuesday 10th
Morning: Forced up early by the irritating squirrels. Husked a bunch of walnuts. Broke-fast with Coconut flakes, kefir acid whey and Brazil nuts. Dinner: Slow cooked Elk Backstrap with zucchini & carrots fried in butter.
Wednesday 11th
25 hour fast broken with Salmon tail dinner.
Thursday 12th
Wrote Kombucha Tea for Weight Loss. Went grouse hunting. Got nothing, but saw to buck deer.
Planned high-cal day. Snacked on meats all day and had two dinners. #1 at my parents house: Red snapper broiled in Butter, pine nuts & green onions, with celery. #2 Slow cooked Pork Roast.
Friday 13th
24 hour fast broken with Beef steak & mashed zucchini.
Saturday 14th
Wee hours of the morning: Edited, uploaded and wrote Making Kombucha at Home
24 hour fast broken with slow cooked Beef steak, broccoli & carrots.

@Stacey Clayton – Thank babe!
CastleGrok has wanted to write a book for years, but other than my “White Trash Recipe Collection” from a previous life (which ironically consisted almost entirely of refined white ingredients)… I’ve never wanted to write a cookbook. Ha-ha
