Grok Homeless – Water Destroys the Cave!

Most of my online friends know by now I’ve been without basic services all last week due to the cold weather. I’ve been staying with my parents as a result.

Today that cold weather ended. I returned home to my place destroyed by water from either broken pipes or exploded water heater (not sure yet). 12 hours later a demolition team had the place completely gutted to the studs in some places. For now (maybe a month) I’m homeless, but staying with my parents.

I’ll see tomorrow if my work computers were destroyed from the water. When I came in, they were still on, but sitting in water with the surge protectors were submerged! I flipped the breaker since water was pooring from the electrical outlets. Maybe I’m unemployed too?

On a positive note… the $5 lottery ticket I bought last week (I think my first ever) while feeling down on my luck was a $3 winner today!

Some of you have offered help. This is greatly appreciated, but I’ll survive. I’m a caveman right? However, my income is taking a severe beating. There is a way you can help….
