Grok the Caveman Chronicles of a Modern Caveman

Crazy Good Omelet!

Cauliflower, Rice, Almond Pizza

Round 4 Pizza Had to put this at the top :) Should be at the bottom.

Omelet with blue sheep cheese and tuna

8 egg omelet (4 whole, 4 whites) with:
2oz of Danish Blue Sheep Cheese, 5oz White Tuna, Brushed with Butter.

Eggs blended slowly to perfection in the Vita-Mix for perfect cooking. Being that it was half whites & over an inch thick, it broke a little when I folded it.

I could have easily eaten 3 of these! You have to try it.

Update: Round 2 – 10:45am

Omelet with tuna

7 egg (1 whole, 6 white) with tuna, broccoli and mushrooms on the side. Slightly lower heat, so this one didn’t break :)

Today’s egg tally = 20. I ate a whole lot of other things not listed here. About 50% primal today ;)

Why whites? Why not all whole eggs?

I eat a hell of a lot of eggs, almost all whole.

    Reasons today were:
    1. I’m watching calories a little bit & plan a big carb cycle tonight.
    2. They weren’t free range.
    3. Running low on whole until my next batch of free range from the a farmer in a few days.
    4. I’ll probably have more later. I’m going to pickle a bunch.

Haha, that’s hilarious. I don’t often check my food intake, but one day recently I plugged it into FitDay.

The 2 eggs I had at breakfast, according to Ftiday, was 150% of my recommended limit of cholesterol.

    W. T. F.

Even Ancel Keys, who by and large was a prime motivator of the lipid hypothesis, made comments about how dietary cholesterol has no effect on serum (and yeah, I don’t really buy into the whole high serum cholesterol is bad thing either).

Yet another reason why obsessing over RDI values is pretty pointless.

I don’t buy it either. The old timers in my family ate lots of saturated fats, eggs, buttery seafood, and many make it into their 90s. Many even smoked non-chemical filled tobacco for a long time.

After talking with my 93 y/o grandfather 2 days ago, the missing links in his diet (until the last 30 years) were trans fats/hydro oils, corn syrups.

He like everyone else was converted to processed foods, vegetable oils and corn syrups. I told him to go back through old photos and look at the time period where his body composition began changing to the current huge gut.

I’d bet last years income that it was the early 80’s.
